Hi my name is Maria I used to be a CNA (caregiver) I loved to help and work with people hands on. Due to my back injury, and lots of pain I had to stop, plus I've been waiting for surgery since 2019 but because of COVID-19 my surgery date has been postponed 4 times already.
Long story short I ended up mostly bedridden, not able to work and no money, until I started selling on Poshmark, Mercari and Marketplace, they're great platforms but I needed more motivation and felt I could do more That's why I started my own website to have my own store and lower prices even more by cutting out the middle man . Being disabled made me think of others that also are income limited and not able to go out shopping when we want. It opened my mind to try and make brand name clothes more affordable. And other things not only affordable but available online. I couldn't decide on only one thing to sell so that's why my store is called Missy Laneous, a boutique that will have different kinds of items.
If I succeed in the future I want to be able to give a percentage to charities with disabilities, but for now I'm barely starting and praying my store will succeed.
